Date of Birth: May 9, 2007

Date of Death: November 6, 2025

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brayden William James Franson, who left us far too soon on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Born on May 9, 2007, Brayden touched countless lives with his loyalty, his humour, and quiet, steady kindness that made him impossible to forget.
Brayden was a devoted father to his daughter, Riley Shaylyn Doehl-Franson, the brightest light of his life. He was a loving partner to Bailey Doehl, who stood by him through everything and shared a bond built on laughter, stubbornness, and unconditional love.
Brayden is survived by his father, Paul Franson; his mother, Brandy Schile; grandfather Wesley Nelson; aunt Jennifer Kindlein; uncle and aunt Marc and Tish; uncle Wayne; cousins Shelby, Whitney, Samantha, and Miranda; auntie Pam (Warren), and Ann Clarkson, who each held a special place in his heart.
Brayden is reunited in the next world with his grandmother, Cindy Nelson; grandfather Leo Schile, and Bill Clarkson, all of whom welcomed him with love.
Brayden was known for dropping everything to help anyone, no matter the hour or the need. He was thoughtful, kind, and endlessly willing to give more of himself than he ever asked for in return. He was handsome, stubborn in the funniest ways, and exactly as those closest to him would say a little shit head, in the most lovable, unforgettable sense.
Brayden could make people laugh when they didn’t think they could. He showed up for others even when he was struggling himself. He loved hard, cared deeply, and left an imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
To honour Brayden’s memory, we share a verse from Lil Peep that captures the way he lived and the meaning he carried in the lives of those who loved him:
“Look at the sky tonight. All of the stars have a reason.” Lil Peep
Brayden will be remembered with love, laughter, and the stories that will keep his spirit shining forever.
A graveside service was held for Brayden on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, in the Whitewood Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Whitewood and Melville.
