With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph Guy Levesque of Fort Qu’Appelle on Monday, Feb. 20 2023 at the age of 89+ years. Guy was born in Montmartre SK, raised in the Fairlight area and worked most of his life as a Wildlife/Conservation Officer in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec and the NWT. Guy had a full life working various jobs after retirement: Airport security, demolition of old houses, bale truck, butcher and he owned a Pawn Shop. He loved wildlife, the outdoors and had many dogs, mostly German Shepherds. He played guitar, loved to do puzzles and went to many tropical places for holidays.
Guy was predeceased by his parents Dora and Albert; brothers Omer, Alcide, Felix; and his sister, Rose Marie.
He is survived by his sisters Dolores, Solange, Jeannine and Juliette; and brother Leo.
He was a loving father of four children: his daughter Barbara; and sons Douglas, Darrel and Barry. Grandchildren/Great-Grandchildren: Sherry and Sean (Barb/Chris) 5 great-grandchildren, Traci, Sherri and Ryan (Doug /Beverley) 4 great-grandchildren, Brandin, Dustin and Brandi (Darrel/Connie) 2 great-grandchildren, Brooks and Jayme (Barry/Carmela) 6 great-grandchildren.
Guy was a kind soul who touched many hearts. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
Funeral services will be held at Victoria Funeral Home in Regina, Sask. on Wednesday, May 24 at 10:30.
