A case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in an individual at Broadview School. Prairie Valley is working closely with Public Health staff to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students. Students from a single early years classroom will transition to online learning for up to 14 days. Due to the safeguards we have in place, Broadview School will remain open and classes will continue as normal for all other students.

Public Health will be contacting parents/guardians of students and any staff/visitors/volunteers who may have been in close contact with the case and providing direction. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.

Prairie Valley has communicated with the families of Broadview School.
