ALMASI – Elizabeth (nee Stadler) June 1, 1915 – July 1, 2018.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elizabeth Almasi, of Melville Sask., at the age of 103. She passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Melville, Sask. with family by her side.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Steve and Roza Stadler; her husband, Rudolph (Rudy) Almasi; her children, Larry Almasi and Alvin Almassy (Bernice); six sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her children: Brian (Darlene) Almasi, Glenn (Debbie) Almasi and Sharon (Curtis) Grunert; daughter-in-law, Louise Almasi; 14 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
The funeral mass was held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. from St. Henry’s Roman Catholic Church, in Melville, with Rev. Fr. Albert Schmitz as the velebrant. Donations can be made to a charity of choice as token of remembrance.
Arrangements were by Bailey’s Funeral Home, Melville.
