On Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, Shirley-Mae Epp of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK died at the age of 91 years.
Shirley-Mae was born on May 14, 1926 in Shaunavon, SK to Clarence William (Bill) and Susanna Pearl (Pearl) Martin.
She married Edmund Jacob Epp on June 11, 1946 in Saskatoon, SK, They had four children. After moving to Fort Qu’Appelle, SK in 1964 where she resided for the remainder of her life, Shirley re-entered the workforce. First at the Fort San TB Sanitarium, Brinkworth’s Snack Bar and then moving on to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce until her retirement.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Pearl Martin; her sister, Verna; and her husband, Edmund.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, James, Ken, Lee, Debby, John and Michael; as well as her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Kristine, Shawn, Darren, Amanda; and all her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
Cremation with a family interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
