On Friday, April 10th , 2015, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP received a complaint from the previous evening that at 7:00 p.m a child under the age of 12 had been approached by an adult male while playing outside on Railway Avenue in the town of Balcarres, Saskatchewan. A white truck approached the child and the driver asked the child if she wanted to go for a ride. The child said “no” and screamed for help from her family. Family reported the incident to the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP the following morning.

The adult male was driving what was described as a white 2-door truck that was dirty. No make, model or approx. year of the truck is available at this time. The lone adult male is described as having darker coloured skin, a skinny face and a ponytail.

The incident is currently under investigation by Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP.
