Tunie Berniece Topinka, widow of the late James Topinka, born in Whitewood June 16, 1918, passed away March 25, 2013 in Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Brandon, MB. Tunie enjoyed life and rejoiced in the opportunity to help others. She lived in Manitoba since 1944, mostly in Brandon.
Tunie was predeceased by her husband Jim; her brothers Oliver and Myles Hoggarth and sisters Jean and Blanche. She is survived by her children Olive, Ron, Keith and Janet, as well as grandchildren Amanda, Christopher, Benjamin, Neil, Kathryn and Ryan and by great-grandsons Andrew and Alex. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and relatives.
The funeral service was held at the Whitewood United Church March 30, 2012 with the Rev. Barbara Wilkins officiating.
