Barbara Ann Allary passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
Barbara was born on Nov. 11, 1954, in Yorkton, Sask., to William and Muriel (nee Star) Allary. She was the third child in the family and grew up on the family farm in the Crescent Lake area. Between 1976 and 1983, Barbara welcomed five children, raising them on a farm near Tonkin. She found great joy in country life, spending her time gardening, curling, and caring for her beloved dog, Homer. Her life was full and busy, often centered around baseball games, curling bonspiels, and time spent with family. Above all, Barbara cherished her role as a mother and took immense pride and joy in being a grandmother.

She is lovingly remembered by her five children: Chris (Erin), Michael, Donovan (Kristin), Sean (Amanda) and Krystal (Wade). Anthony (Joanne), and sisters Gloria (Pete), Lynda, Terri and Corry; along with numerous extended family members including Auntie Sharon Strongarm and cousins on Star Blanket First Nation.
