Mom was a great cook. She was able to make the smoothest gravy with just a wooden spoon! She was always able to produce a plate of cookies or cake for any visitors. We have been left to wonder who will be the next great cabbage roll maker.
She and dad had many great adventures traveling in their motorhome often towing a boat to do a little fishing. They loved to square dance and belonged to a bowling team. They were active in the church and often volunteered their time and talents.
Mom enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and often won prizes for her handiwork and baking in the annual Fall Fair. Her competitive spirit came out when playing cards and her moves in Chinese Checkers were impressive.
She spent much time with her grandkids, even teaching them to drive! I believe her favorite drive was to the Pipestone where she was born… precious memories.
