Betty Dickie passed away peacefully in Melville, SK on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, just over a month before her 83rd birthday.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Freeman and Millicent Howsam; and her brother, Manford Howsam.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Darrell) Stan, Jeff (Jen) Dickie and Marty (Kris) Dickie; and her grandchildren, Miranda Stan (Ryan Johnson), Bryce (Ashley) Stan, Braden (Ashley) Stan, Tegan Dickie, Kalan Dickie, Kassidy Dickie; and her great-grandchildren, Easton, Rowan, Colt and Huck; and sister, Winnifred Rowe.
Betty was a teacher and raised three children. She was a farmer’s wife that had an active role in the daily operation. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting, needlepoint and reading. Her passion was sports, especially hockey and baseball, even until the day she passed. Her friends were important to her, and she socialized often. Her family thanks all her friends for their support and friendship she received.
A graveside service will be held at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10 am.
