Bert Leonard Whiteman begins his healing walk cleaning up the garbage on the Standing Buffalo Reserve. Whiteman says the spiritual exercise, that will take him around the lake, represents "the cleaning up of the ugliness in my life," and his determination to accept responsibility for his past mistakes.
