Visibility was near zero in open areas as can be seen above at the corner of Lalonde and Railway Street in town. The southeast part of the province was hit hard on Monday when snow fell in amounts from 10 to 25 cm. accompanied by strong winds. The winds continued into Tuesday, gusting at times to 90 km per hour and closing down parts of the province’s roadways as well as many of the highways in Manitoba.
