Landing on Highway 1 - Firefighter Shane Thompson guides the STARS air ambulance in for a landing on Highway 1 west of Whitewood following a two vehicle collision on Jan. 7. Six people were injured in the collision, including a 16-year-old girl who was transported by STARS to a Regina hospital. RCMP report that the accident was caused by a drunk driver who failed to stop coming off a grid road onto the highway.
