Church fire - The Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Cowessess First Nation was destroyed by fire on Nov. 14. The site was of significant historical interest due to its age and its relation to the residential schools. The cause of the early morning fire, which saw two fire departments respond to, is still unknown and being investigated.
