Debbie Briggs-Heddleston uses former Saskatchewan Roughrider John Chick as a model to show where he places his insulin pump as part of Tackling Diabetes, a presentation hosted at Melville Community Works on Feb. 8. Briggs-Heddleston explained the advantages of the pump system to those on hand while Chick related his story of growing up with type 1 diabetes.
