It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruth Reihl of Indian Head, Sask. at the age of 76 years on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Ruth passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, Jake; her three children: Tim (Lisa), Steven (Donna-Lee) and Tammy (Todd); grandchildren: Railene (Mike), Daniel (Jennifer) and Hayden (Ashley) and great-granddaughter Hannah. Ruth is also survived by her siblings: Mike, Marlene and Ray (Doreen); and her sisters-in-law Christine and Hilda.
Ruth loved her family deeply and took pride in all they accomplished. Many people will miss Ruth’s baking, especially her cinnamon buns.
The family would like to thank Ron, Jeff and crew of the Indian Head EMS, Dr. Choi and the nursing team at Unit 3E at the Regina General Hospital, Dr. Zimmerman, nurse Carley and Bonnie at the Indian Head Union Hospital for their care and compassion of Ruth’s care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to The Indian Head and District Hospital Foundation Inc., Box 1547, Indian Head, SK S0G 2K0.
The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Indian Head on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Francis Hengen. A private family interment will be held.
