Date of Birth: November 19, 1951

Date of Death: November 21, 2023

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our much-loved wife, mother, sister and aunt, Sabina Baller, who passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023.
Sabina grew up on the family farm in the Killaly area and attended Mariahilf Country School, Killaly School and St. Henry’s High School, in Melville. She worked as a data processor in Regina and later married Blair Baller in 1976. They settled in Pilot Butte, where they built a new house and raised their family.
Sabina enjoyed and excelled at creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was an innovative and creative seamstress and cook, her hands were seldom idle, unless she was reading a historical novel or researching for a new project.
Due to increasingly complicated medical conditions, Sabina took up residence at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Despite her challenges, Sabina remained cheerful, optimistic and supportive of her family. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care she was given and commend all the professional staff and care givers at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and the Regina General Hospital.
Sabina was predeceased by her mother Elsie; father John; brother Gary; and sister Marie. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Blair; son Scott; daughter Christina; sisters Charlotte, Agnes, June and Marina; and brothers Barry, Leo, Charles, Ryan, Jerome, Mark and Bill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 2702 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1J2.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Balgonie, SK on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. with private family interment to follow. To view the livestream of the service or to leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.speersfunrealchapel.com
