Murray Wolfe passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023 in Regina General Hospital at the age of 70 years.
Murray was born in Grenfell, Sask. on July 8, 1953 and spent his life in the area farming. He always had a love of horses and cattle and embraced the country life. He worked at various dairy farms as a young man and had his own farm for many years where he ran a feedlot. He spent whatever extra time he was allowed to pursue his passion for riding horses. He was always a cowboy at heart.
After a lengthy illness, he moved to Broadview, where he again settled on a small farm and continued his devotion in agriculture until his passing.
Murray is survived by his brother Ron Wolfe; sisters, Joan Haylock (Lawrence), Marlene Johnston (Jim) and Judy le Roux (Eric); and numerous nieces and nephews. Murray was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Wolfe; mother, Ida Wolfe; brother Herb Wolfe; sisters, Joyce Naujok and Gladys Nolan; brothers-in-law, Horst Naujok, Bob Nolan and Lloyd Johnston; and sisters-in law, Margaret Wolfe and Eunice Wolfe.
A graveside service was held in Poplar Grove United Church Cemetery, South of Broadview, SK on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Shirley Schlamp officiating.
