It is with heavy hearts that we announce Patti’s passing at the age of 61 on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023. Patti was born on Oct. 4, 1962, in Melville, SK to George and Marilyn Redenbach. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many.
Patti leaves behind her caring husband Alfred; and their children, Ashley, Jenni (Zach) and step-son Jeremy (Heather). Her girls were her world, providing her with many proud moments and accomplishments. Patti is further survived by her mother Marilyn; sister Gina; brothers, Don (Tara) and Randy; as well as six nephews.
After graduating from SIAST’s nursing program, Patti started working at the Plains Health Centre in August 1983, finishing her 25 year career at the Regina General Hospital. Bedside nursing was her passion, being able to provide healing and compassion to both body and spirit. She loved being able to connect with her patients on a personal level. Patti always brought much fun and laughter to both those working around her and to the many friends she made throughout her life.
The family will be having a private service to honor Patti’s memory. Memorial donations in Patti’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (1200-2300 Yonge Street, Box 2414 Toronto, ON M4P 1E4).
