Mom…… God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come with me”. With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best.
The family wishes to specially thank the following: Staff of 3D and 4A at the Pasqua Hospital for their compassionate care; to Nancy Grant and the residents of Westminster Care Home (mom’s most recent residence) who warmly welcomed her to the fold recently; to Pastor Shauna Archer at Living Hope Alliance Church and many other friends and family who raised mom up in prayer and love as she got ready to meet Jesus.
A private family funeral service will take place in Kipling, Sask. with an interment in Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK. S4P 3X1 or the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143 Highway 6 North & Armour Road, Regina, SK. S4P 3G7. Online condolences may be made at www.tubmanfh.com
