Joseph Englot was born Nov. 5, 1936, to Anton (Tony) and Julia (Misko) Englot, the second child and first son in a family of five children. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Joyce; sister Bernice Johnston; and brother Andrew.
Joseph leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory: four children, Mark (Cathy) and their children, Greg, Mike and Julie; Lynette (Cory) Rennebohm and their children, Kaylie (Duncan), Nick and Conor; Jo-Ann (David) Lesiuk and their children, Emily, Chelsey and Olivia; and Colleen (Chris) Poncelet and their children Cara and Caleb. He also leaves to mourn sisters Florence Grobowsky and Elaine Gottselig, as well as extended family and friends.
A vigil service was held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lebret, on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, with the Rev. Fr. Adelberto Lillo officiating. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Fr. Adelberto Lillo officiating. Pianist Yvette Beutel led the congregation in the singing of the hymns, Wanda Englot and Stan Englot shared scripture readings and Mark Englot provided the eulogy. Interment took place in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Lemberg, with Greg Englot, Mike Englot, Julie Englot, Kaylie Rennebohm, Nick Rennebohm and Conor Rennebohn as pallbearers.
Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.
