On July 27, 2021 Mary Ann Elizabeth Fayant (nee Poitras) made her journey to the spirit world to join the love of her life, Clifford; parents, George and Clarice Poitras; and brother, August Desjarlais.
Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Samuel Poitras; children: Sharon, Sheila (Joe), Sam (Dawn), Shaun (Lisa), Shelly (Mike) and Shannon; grandchildren, Tim (Cass), Sam Jr. (Catherine), Rochelle (Mike) Dylan (Cris), Josēe, Hunter, Jocelyn (Tristen), Shaun Jr. (Kylie), Braydon, Jenna and Alex; great-grandchildren,
Adeline, Kenzie, Rhea, Marcel, Jaxon, Brynn, Micheala, Gabriella and Migel; godsons, Greg and Russ; adopted daughters, Shauneen, Judy and Tracey; adopted son, Jarred Hitchens; as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitations were held on Thursday July 29, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mary Ann’s home, 326 Main Street, Abernethy SK.
Funeral mass led by family was held Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lebret, Sask.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks relatives to take an Elder out for a meal and drive through the valley in honor of Mary Ann.
