TransCanada donates truck - Justin Piller on behalf of TransCanada presents the keys for the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado to Grenfell Fire Chief Dwayne Stone on Thursday. TransCanada donated the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4 quad cab to the fire department to replace their present 1988 GMC Sierra. The 1988 GMC 2500 Crewcab ¾ ton was also donated by TCPL on April 28, 1998. The truck is used to fight rural offroad fires and MVA traffic control. TransCanada also donated $10,000 in 2017 to help purchase new MSA Self Contained Breathing Appartus. Also in the picture are fellow firefighters, Michael Krescy, Darren Manovich, and Ken Dobra.
