It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Vincent Hammerstrom of Delta B.C. Oscar passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Delta View Life Enrichment Centres. Born May 10, 1926 as the second child of six children in Broadview, Sask., Oscar loved to spend time with his family, had a warm personality and was loved by everyone that knew him.
Oscar was predeceased by his wife, Marie Alma (Pelletier) of 59 years. He is survived by his wife, Heather Budden; two daughters and a son, Victoria (David), Shelley (Kim), son Darryl; five grand children, Christine (Chandler), Victoria (Alan), Stephen, Ashley (Jon), Sean (Jordan); and great-grandson, Dean. Oscar is also survived by sister, Glenda (Wilfred) Urschel; sister-in-law, Lorna; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
