Dean Edward Elliott (Wiener) of Okanese First Nation passed away suddenly on Oct. 4, 2017 at the age of 57 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rosie Ila Keewatin and Albert Edward Elliott. He was also predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.
Dean leaves behind a daughter, Tessa Anne Contessa Frauenfeld (Paul); son, Dean Sandy Raine Elliott Jr; granddaughter, Emma May Frauenfeld; siblings, Florence Ann Shilton (Garry), Robert Keith Keewatin, John Wayne Elliott (Denise), Ronald George Elliott (Dorothy), Lila Jean White, Debra Elliott, Noella Lolacher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dean will be sadly missed by the school children on his bus route of Little Black Bear and Okanese First Nations.
Donations can be made to the Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Wake took place Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at 4 p.m. in the Okanese First Nation Learning Centre. Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. in the same location.
