Dallas was born to the late Charles and Annie Morgan on Nov. 27, 1932, one of nine children. Dallas had six brothers: Anthony, Lance, Charles, Allen, Glen and Julian and two sisters, Patricia and Victoria.
She married the late Ken Armstrong on Oct. 27, 1952 in Whitehorse, Yukon. They moved many times over the years before finally settling in Regina in 1964.
Mom worked at the Pasqua Hospital on the children’s ward for 14 years. When Dad became too ill to work they decided to run a personal care home for seniors. Mom continued that work after Dad passed in 1982 and she ran her home for 27 years before retiring. She was highly regarded in her field and loved her job, her ladies were very special to her. The families appreciated the love and care their mothers received.
The family would like to thank Bill Horbach and the nursing staff at College Park II for their care, kindness and compassion to Mom. We are truly grateful. A service to celebrate Dallas’ life will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at 2 p.m.
