On July 21st, 2015 at approximately 8:46 a.m., Carlyle RCMP responded to a call of a human body found in Kenosee Lake at the Moose Mountain Provincial Park near a boat launch.  At this time, the death is not believed to be suspicious in nature.

The deceased has been identified as a 62-year-old female from Regina. Next of kin have been notified and the deceased’s name will not be released by police.

Carlyle RCMP and the Office of the Chief Coroner continue to investigate. An autopsy will take place in Regina later this week.

Kenosee Lake is about 58 kilometres south of Whitewood.
