Raymond Frederick Jordan passed away on Thursday, July 9th, three days after his 69th birthday (born July 6th, 1946 in Whitewood, SK). He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Annie Jordan and brother, Keith (Charlotte). He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Jason (Jennifer), his daughter, Jennifer, and his ex-spouse, Sharon, and his brothers Ken (Charlotte), Lloyd (Patricia), and sister-in-law (Jean), and their children. It is probably not an exaggeration that he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Raymond will surely miss his granddaughter, Elena, who was the light of his life. Raymond provided an example of living with integrity and compassion for all people and all living things (this might even include aphids). He was a naturalist, environmentalist, and lover of gardening. He had a beautiful mind and acted according to what was “right”. Jordan, RaymondWhile he was not afraid to stand alone, it was clear that family and friendships were very important to him. In many ways, he was a teacher. While we will all miss him and celebrate his life in our own way, we will have a “get together” that honours these values and to share stories and lessons we have learned from him (date to be determined). May you finally rest in peace, Ray, Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, Mr. Jordan, and Friend. In support of him, your donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Saskatoon Food Bank would be much appreciated. Arrangements in care of MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (306-934-4888).
