In the evening hours of January 26th, RCMP in Fort Qu’Appelle responded to multiple complaints of a possible impaired driver. With the assistance of Melville RCMP and File Hills First Nations Police Service the suspect vehicle was located on Highway 10 near Fort Qu’Appelle. The suspect vehicle did not stop for police and a pursuit ensued. The Pursuit was called off to ensure public safety but the suspect vehicle was again located near Edgeley where it had lost control and hit the ditch.

The driver of the suspect vehicle which was stolen out of Regina is a 15 year old male who has been charged with multiple offences including: Impaired Driving, Flight from Police and Possession of stolen property. The male passenger identified as Sabin James PALMER (36) from Regina has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property. Both accused have been released to appear in Provincial Court in Fort Qu’Appelle on March 2nd, 2015.
